This historic twinplex is centrally located in Uptown Maumee. There are 2 units: the blueside and the greenside. This is the listing for the greenside. The greenside is a 1br/1ba on one floor (no steps). This is a large 900sf private unit.

The "green" side features fresh paint, herringbone plank floors, updated full kitchen w/ coffee, Brita pitcher, pots & pans, utensils, plates & more. There is speedy wifi and a desk for working from home. The green chair in the living room folds out into a twin bed. There is also a sectional couch & 2 end tables.

There is a 50 inch TCL Roku Smart TV you can use our Sling acct, or stream your favorites.

There is a formal dining area that sits 4, and a dedicated work space.

The bedroom has a King bed w/ memory foam mattress, blinds and a walk in closet w/ hangers.

The full bath has a tub / shower combo, large vanity, sconce lighting, rectangular mirror w/ hair dryer, cotton pads, body wash, shampoo, conditioner available for your use as well as clean white bath towels.

We usually stock some cleaning supplies below the kitchen sink for guests use as well as a vacuum on property for our longer stays.

There is a NEW full sized washer and dryer. Everything in this unit is all on one level. No Stairs. There is a front and back door entrance, lots of on street parking around. We are located right off of Conant Street which is the heart of Maumee with shops, bars, restaurants, events & more! You can also easily walk right to the Maumee River & Towpath!

*Please note: This home is an over 100 year old farmhouse. Ohio is a 4 season state. This home has baseboard heaters for heating and window unit ac for cooling. For summer there are 2 window ac units, one in the main area w/ the dining room ( powerful w/ a remote) and a smaller unit in the bedroom itself.

This home does NOT have central heating/cooling. If you’re looking for something in this location with central ac & heat please consider booking the Carriage House.

Regular grass mowing & snow removal are done automatically when needed.*

Our home is professionally cleaned after each guest, we try to keep the cleaning costs as low as possible while maintaining a high standard of clean, we never require guests to do dishes/laundry but it is helpful if the outgoing guest starts these since many of our incoming guests ask to check in early.

Because some bookings are back to back, it can be difficult to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs. If you need additional time in the home please consider booking an extra day. If our cleaner completes the clean early we do our best to notify the incoming guest that they can check in early free of charge.

Please be advised that the the City of Maumee hosts multiple festivals and summer fairs in addition to the new summer farmers market (weather permitting), this property is right in the center of the action.

By booking our home you agree to not smoke anywhere on property. This includes cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vaping and E-Cig. Furthermore, you understand that if you or any guests are confirmed to have smoked a $250 fee will be imposed.

By booking our home and bringing pets you agree to be a responsible pet owner and follow all local leash laws. You agree to pick up after your pet and understand that a $100 fee will be imposed if it is confirmed that your pet had accidents in the home or was not picked up after. You agree to pay for any pet damages.

Please keep in mind that staying at an Airbnb is different than a hotel. The usual nightly rate of this home is $100 +- although it can be higher during weekends/holidays. We stand by our home being less costly than a hotel room while accommodating more people and being pet friendly. We ask that guests be kind when it comes to leaving reviews. Airbnb reviews of 4 stars or less can result in the listing getting kicked off of the platform. We are open to honest feedback. Guests are provided with a direct maintenance number should maintenance be needed during a stay. An info sheet is also located at the property near the front door.

The home is a twinplex. The "green" side of the home is private. Guests can also rent the "blue" side of the home. OR see our listing "Carriage House" it is on the same parcel. The green side comes with free street parking only. Please do not park in driveway as that is for other units. There is a rear deck off the back of the home that is private to the unit. You can park on the street then enter through the deck area.

We are local and live in Maumee but not on property.

Vibrant in town location, totally walkable to many sought after amenities included, but not limited to: The Maumee River, Sidecut Park, Jackys Depot Ice Cream, Maumee Library, Lily & Lilacs Whiskey Bar, Dales Bar and Grill, Village Idiot Pizza, Brewhouse Coffee Shop, Georgettes Breakfast, Dinos Diner, El Salto Mexican Restaurant, Maumee Theatre, & many shops.

Very walkable location. Cars, uber, bike etc are regular modes of transportation.
